Your New Year Celebration begins the moment you arrive. Settle in to your rooms and then come down for Tea - or Mulled Cider! - and home-made mince pies served by a roaring fire in the Sitting Room.
This is just the start of three days of good food and fun - whether you decide to go for long country walks to work up an appetite for venison and chestnut casserole, or just sit by the fire with a good book - you will have a great time.
New Year's Eve dinner is a glamorous affair - get dressed up as much as you like and start off the evening with champagne and delicious home made canapés, followed by a splendid five course
Dinner that will last almost to midnight - see menus page. And of course see in the New Year with another glass of Tanners wonderful champagne - you can even stay awake and walk up to the Castle to see dawn rise over Wigmore's glacial plain - coffee and hip flask provided.
Whatever the weather is doing, snow or frost, rain or shine, your New Year will be truly special and you will head home with fond memories fresh in your mind... till next year...
